AdNews Challenge

Mayday, mayday! It's time to register with Everyday Hero

Kerry McCabe 21 Sep 2012

Dear Team Captains,

We are now eight weeks from the event. I hope you are hard into training, as I am ... about to! It's now time to show that as an industry we have the 'heart' to match the stamina needed for this event! If you haven’t already, can I please ask that you register your team/s with Everyday Hero today to commence the fundraising aspect of the event.

This is separate to the registration process to sign up to compete. We are very hopeful that each of you will jump in boots and all as a very small effort on the part of each team will go a huge way towards us reaching the event fundraising target of $40,000 (less than $1,000 per team).

If you go to the below link it should not take you, or your nominated representative, more than five minutes. For companies with more than one team you can choose a name or number in addition to your company name (e.g. M&C Saatchi #1).

As the not-for-profit representative body of the media, marketing and advertising industry, MAYDAY has the bold vision to eliminate the consequences of youth disadvantage in Australia. Your efforts, and the sponsorship of your company, colleagues, partners, suppliers, friends and family enable us to serve young people in need – on your behalf.

To make it fun and add to the competition, there are great prizes for the highest fundraising individual/team and for the team in each category that raises the most. Thanks in advance for your great support of MAYDAY and the AdNews Challenge.
