Fairfax "Bakes a Difference"
Let’s just say that Fairfax has taken its sponsorship of the AdNews Challenge to heart. Right into its heart and deep into its pockets.
“We love doing our bit to help raise funds for UnLtd!” Fairfax senior trade marketing executive, Jessica Abrahams, noted.

“This year we will be holding The Great Fairfax Bake Off on Monday 9th November,” she added. “We’re inviting staff to dust off their aprons and help us "bake a difference" by entering their baked goodies to be tasted and critiqued by a panel of expert judges. Winning entries will be selected for the top prizes in three categories - signature, technical and showstopper.
All the baked goodies entered in the competition will then be sold on the day at a fundraising morning tea, where the winners will also be announced.
“In addition to the Great Fairfax Bake Off, Fairfax is also holding a fundraising raffle, with some fabulous prizes to be won including tickets to Elton John at Hope Estate in the Hunter Valley, a three month Bodypass membership, a gourmet food hamper by Gastronomy, a case of Hoddles Creek Chardonnay and Gold Class Movie tickets.
“Our dedicated AdNews Challenge team entrants will also be raising money via their individual Just Giving pages. And we have set up some healthy snack stations around the office, selling not-so-naughty treats.”
So yes, if you’re wondering, the annual AdNews Challenge sausage sizzle and cake day is feeling some pressure to perform better than it ever has.
Proceeds raised from all of Fairfax’s, all of AdNews’ and all of your activities will go toward supporting UnLtd.
