The challenge

The AdNews Challenge is a corporate fitness and charity fund-raising event for the advertising, media and marketing industries. It is organised by AdNews, the leading magazine serving these industries in Australia.

When: Sunday 15 November 2015
Where: Clifton Gardens Reserve, Mosman, Sydney
Disciplines: Kayaking, running, swimming, stand up paddle board
Duration: 50-90 minutes
Facilities: Refreshments available, families welcome.

Starting and finishing at Clifton Gardens Reserve, contestants will swim, kayak and paddle board in sparkling Chowder Bay and run through unspoilt bush on the edge of Sydney Harbour.

Ample parkland in Clifton Gardens Reserve provides a relaxing backdrop for families and spectators. There is a beach, enclosed swimming pool and play equipment for children, with cafes and restaurants nearby on Chowder Bay Road adjacent to the reserve.

A portion of all registration fees go to the industry charity partner UN LTD, who aims to eliminate the consequences of youth disadvantage in Australia through harnessing the wealth, talent and influence of the advertising, marketing and media industry of Australia. Visit

Competitors can enter either as individuals doing all four legs of the course, or as company teams of four with team members doing one leg each in a relay format.
